A highlight of the session was the demo of the Welcome app, showing just how much flexibility content owners can have when shaping their intranet homepage. Welcome takes the familiar SharePoint experience and elevates it with smarter content automation, thoughtful personalization, and flexible layout options. For intranet managers, content owners and internal comms, it’s a simpler, more intuitive way to shape the front door of the intranet.
Dynamic content aggregation
Automatically surface SharePoint News from one or multiple sites - ideal for teams managing hub sites or distributed content owners. This keeps homepages fresh and relevant without requiring manual updates.
Audience targeting built in
Create personalized homepage experiences by showing the right content to the right groups: departments, locations, job roles, and more.
Custom templating for full layout control
A capability we’re especially excited about: organizations can now design and apply their own layout templates.
